Laser Therapy – A Clinical Manual

Again and again, students in seminars have asked where to find guidelines for specific conditions and other clinically relevant information. The authors have experimented with many different approaches in more than 30,000 treatments using therapeutic lasers, and through their experience, have developed the clinically oriented and results-based systems in this manual.

The manual is divided into two parts. The first portion explains how lasers work, parameters of laser light – wavelength/dosage/power/pulsing etc., how to calculate dosage accurately, the physics of light in tissue, physiological effects, contraindications, special considerations, laser classifications, what to look for in choosing a laser and how to treat.

The second portion presents specific clinical approaches for more than forty conditions, with illustrations, point selection, dosage and techniques to address:
Alopecia Areata · Arthritis · Asthma · Back Pain · Bell's Palsy · Belpharitis, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma · Bunions · Candida/Dampness in Middle Burner · Carpal Tunnel Syndrome · Chronic Fatigue · Cystitis · Detox · Dizziness, Tinnitus, Meniere's Disease · Endometriosis · Facial Rejuvenation · Fibromyalgia · Ganglion Cysts/Skin Tags· Headaches – Frontal/Migraines/Vertex · Headaches (Occipital, Whiplash, Tension) – Cervical Pain · Heel Spurs/Plantar Facitis/Heel Pain · Infertility · Intestinal Problems (Constipation, Diarrhea, Colitis, Crohn's) · Knee Pain · Leg Cramps, Restless Leg Syndrome · Menopause · Neck Pain · Neuropathy/Neuropathic Pain · Organ and Endocrine Treatment · Rotator Cuff Syndrome/Frozen Shoulder · Scar Tissue/Adhestions · Sciatica · Shingles · Sinusitis · Spleen Qi Deficiency · Sports Medicine · Stress Fractures/Shin Splints · Stroke/Windstroke · Systemic Treatment · Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome · Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD/TMJ) · Tendonitis · Tennis Elbow/Golfers Elbow · Toothache/Facial Pain · Wounds/Burns · Yin Deficiency
